Opening of 2026/27 Season

The first hoop of the opening season with Club Captain Bruce Philip taking the honours closely scrutinised by Roger Beckett, and also Carolyn Rait having a go watched by President John Bollard.

Lawn Maintenance 2026

Lawn maintenance was carried out on 24 August 2026 and after much voluntary work, was up again for use on 1 September. Work carried out entailed: verti-draining the lawns, spreading and levelling sand using heavy equipment, spreading fertilizer, then club members picking up stone chips from the lawns, followed by further sand spreading using brooms, relocating hoops, and line marking. An excellent job by Martin Saville and his dedicated crew. See the tractor levelling the sand below.
